2014 FINA World Junior Diving

The US junior team is at it again representing our country in Penza, Russia for the FINA world junior diving championships.  This championship meets covers the span of six days with our juniors competing in everything from 1 meter springboard to 3 meter springboard to platform and finally in synchronized diving.  Our youngsters have the chance to become world champions for their age group while competing against the best in the world and giving them a tremendous amount of experience for any up coming Olympics they may dive in.  It is one thing to say you are the national champion for your age group on whichever board, but it is on a totally different level when you can say you are a world champion.  These kids work extremely hard to get where they are and it definitely shows by the dives they doing.  The diving in this video is superior and very pleasing to watch which is unique considering  these divers are under the age of 18.  Enjoy watching the video and just think you could possibly see one of these kids diving in the Olympics one day.  My favorite dive is the young lady putting down a reverse 2 1/2 on 1 meter around the :35 mark.
