2010 FINA Diving

Just some good old fashioned diving done at the Hall of Fame pool in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  The video is done with a handheld camera from the side of the pool which gives you a really neat perspective of the wonderful world of diving.  I think a lot gets taken away when you see diving on TV with the high tech television camera and all of the good lighting.  With a handheld camera like the one you will see in the video, you get to see and feel the real sense of speed at which the divers spin and hit the water.  You have to remember they are 33 feet in the air coming down at 35 mph with spinning, angular velocity so they are going to hit the water hard.  Hence why it is super important to be locked out tight and ready to  knife through the water.
