The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari

If you are like me, you are constantly reading, learning and educating yourself with any and all books, articles and information you can get your hands on.  Reading is the greatest way to open your mind, add perspective, add enlightenment and overall better yourself.  I enjoy reading books on self help, self improvement and enlightenment as well as paleo / primal books and also autobiographies.  I recently just finished a fantastic book which I have heard a lot about and I am inspired, motivated and driven to make my life and every body else’s life whom I am in constant contact with better.  The book is called The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari and it is by Robim Sharma.  It is a fable about a big hot-shot city lawyer who has everything in his life he could ever ask for; money, fame, wealth and all the materialistic possessions he could ever dream of and yet he still was not happy.  It takes a health scare for him to open his eyes, sale everything he owns and book a trip to India to where he learns how to live again.  This book definitely helped me become driven again with all of my goals, with what I want out of life, how I handle myself, how I see myself to others and how to become happy.  This book is slightly a cross between The Secret and Think and Grow Rich and I would highly recommend this read to anyone.
For today’s Monday motivation I have gathered several quotes from The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari which I believe are very valuable, insightful, motivating and inspiring.  I hope this inspires you as much as me and maybe makes you want to check out the book.  You will not be sorry and your life will be forever changed.
