Today I would like to feature British diver Mr. Tom Daley. Mr Daley is Britain’s young up and coming diver with a great shot at a medal. Tom went to the 2008 olympics at a very young age of 14. A huge growing spurt has made diving a bit more challenging for him but he seems to handle it well. Generally speaking, divers are not suppose to be tall. Most divers you see are no taller than 5’8″. The smaller you are, the tighter the tuck and pike, the smaller the radius and the faster you can spin. Taller divers have to work extra hard to make up for the difference. Look for Tom in contention for the Olympic games this year.
We wish him the best of luck.
