Workout Routine

Yesterday I did a good old fashioned heavy lifting workout with my friend Pete and I am freaking sore from it today.  It was a  great workout in which we picked two exercises and super set them together, usually an upper and lower body lift.  For your viewing pleasure, I am going to provide our program done yesterday.

3 sets of 8 reps were done on every exercise.

 

Standing Barbell Shoulder Press- 95, 95, 105 lbs paired with

Trap Bar Deadlift – 225, 225, 245 lbs

 

Kettlebell Swings with the big boy – 106lbs paired with

Weighted Pull-ups – 26, 26, ,35 lbs KB

 

Dumbbell  Bench Press – 80, 85 for 5 , 85 for 5 paired with

Kesier Weighted High Pull – 50 lbs

 

Rear Foot Elevated Split Squat – 95, 95, 115 lbs paired with

Half Kneeling Dumbbell Shoulder Press – 40, 45, 50 lbs

 

Double Kettlebell Front Squat – 44, 44, 53 in each hand paired with

Dumbbell Single Arm Row – 85, 90, 90

 

Kesier Cross Over X Pulls – 20 lbs

Dumbbell Side Lunges – 25 lbs
