Start with some sort of animal protein and surround that with fruits and vegetables to your liking. If you need a snack then you can always turn to nuts like almonds or macadamia. If you have not checked out his book yet, it is well worth the read. It really breaks down all the nutrients you eat on a molecular level, telling you why it is good or bad for you.
